BRINSCALL - OUR NEW LAYOUT

A small group of club members are currently building a new layout based on Brinscall Station. Our intention is to be able to run trains based on the history of the line from the 1900s covering he Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, the LMS and British Railways up to the line's closure in the 1960s. The layout will be built to exhibition standard with the intention of taking it to model railway exhibitions in the future. Because of the individual nature of the area most of the buildings will have to be scratch built from old photographs.
